Well this is play behavior and not fun for the dog. Totally in a play drive and not a real prey/fight drive. This is why sport work is dumb

Helpers fault. He did not slow his run and tried to catch the dog with both feet in the air. Sleeve was all over the place. Watch other trials EVEN AT THIS LEVEL and you will see the helpers plant their feet to catch the dog. Helper was there for his own ego.

Wonderful dog and very well train. A GSD lover here^^. (former security dog handler and bodyguard). He reminds me of my late GSD, Haldir, who was also my working partner and who saved my life 2 times. RIP, buddy, and play with your brother, Galahad, on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. I will miss you forever. GSD are the best dog breed and my favorite one since I was a child. Aslan, my actual one, is sleeping next to me right now^^.

Helper question. When in the Blind you throw the wedge out to reward the dog, why? I also see other helpers place the stick under the jaw during a bite??

I couldn't conflict my dog like this, its not worth it to me. This breaks a weaker dog. Not to say Bart isn't an amazing trainer,.
